Malariotherapy - deliberate infection with malaria to treat illnesses

Dr. Henry Heimlich, developer of the Heimlich maneuver, advocates the use of malariotherapy to treat HIV positive patients without AIDS. Inducing high fevers for a period of 3 weeks, about 10-12 series of fevers, may kill HIV. 
Secretly conducted malariotherapy treatment on 7 Ethiopian HIV+ males. Trials were overseen by a car rental agent. 

Yet authorized studies elsewhere have shown that co-infection with malaria and HIV have increased the viral load.
